KLYMH for Goods Wholesalers Co. LLC: Premium Sesame Seeds Supplier
Sesame seeds, derived from the flowering plant (Sesamum), are one of the oldest cultivated oilseed crops, with a history spanning over 3,000 years. Known for their rich, nutty flavor, these tiny seeds are a staple ingredient in various global cuisines. They are typically found in pods and are highly valued for their exceptional oil content, making them a popular choice for culinary and nutritional applications.
As of 2013, the global production of sesame seeds reached approximately 4.2 million tons, with major contributors including India, and China. Sudan stands out as a significant producer, contributing over 0.7 million tons** in the same year, thanks to its ideal climate and fertile soil.
Sesame seeds are incredibly versatile and are used in various culinary applications, including:
- Sesame Oil Production: Valued for its distinct aroma and flavor, sesame oil is widely used in cooking across different cultures.
- Baking: Sesame seeds are commonly sprinkled on bread, including bagels and hamburger buns. Notably, McDonald's uses a substantial portion of Mexico's sesame crop for its sesame seed buns.
- Snack Foods: They are often incorporated into crackers and baked goods.
- Culinary Delicacies: In the Middle East, sesame seeds are made into tahini and the sweet confection halvah.
KLYMH adheres to strict quality standards for sesame seeds, as outlined by the Sudanese standard formulated by the technical committee No.4. Our products are rigorously tested to ensure they meet international quality requirements.
