Coffee beans are the seeds found within the coffee cherry of the coffee plant. These seeds are harvested, processed, and roasted to produce the familiar brown coffee beans we know and love. Though commonly referred to as "beans," they are technically seeds. The two most economically significant varieties are Arabica and Robusta. Arabica beans are celebrated for their mild, nuanced flavors, while Robusta beans are characterized by their stronger taste and higher caffeine content.

Coffee has a rich historical legacy in the Middle East, with Yemen being the cradle of coffee cultivation. The Arabic term "Qahwa" not only gave rise to the word "coffee" but also established its cultural significance.
